HR Business Process
Today more and more companies are looking towards global harmonization of their processes. This proves to be particularly difficult when it comes to HR processes and especially payroll. A lot of truly global companies have already spent lots of energy, time and money in harmonization projects and more often than not the results were not very satisfying.
In some cases the focus on the global processes is too strong resulting in local factors as legal requirements and union agreements being overlooked, usually leading to poor acceptance by local management.
The opposite approach is also frequently observed. Giving too much consideration to local desires or system related matters often means the global picture is lost and the project has lost most of its meaning.
While most failures can be attributed to one of these 2 commonly made mistakes, it remains a tricky task to find the right balance between both approaches, matching global and local needs while keeping an eye on system-related constraints.
At Adessa we feel confident that our experience will help our customers make the right choices on their path to a successful HR project.
