Recent Projects
Adessa consultants have been working on numerous large scale projects for multinational companies in various industries such as food, banking, telecoms, paper, pharmaceutical, transport and others. Below you’ll find a few examples of our achievements.
SAP HCM - Time & Payroll Redesign
Together with one of our first customers, a leader in the Benelux banking industry, we took up the challenge to redesign the whole of their SAP HCM Master Data system, including Time and Payroll.
When support for their non-SAP time recording system ended it became clear they needed a new solution capable of handling complex rules, to support their workforce of approx. 25000 employees. SAP was already present in the company, so it was no surprise our customer wanted to incorporate time management in the system. Things became more complicated when in the middle of the project new union agreements meant that the entire master data and payroll system needed to be remodelled. With a lot of conviction our highly motivated team has guided our customer through this challenge. After a year of hard work we were able to celebrate the implementation of the new solution.
SAP HCM ERP 6.0 Upgrade
When being confronted with the urgent need for new functionality our customer, a world-class player in paper production, chose to upgrade their SAP HCM/Payroll system to the most recent version available, SAP ERP 6.0. The system was being used for Master Data Management, People development, Time Management and Payroll and several high-risk projects were ongoing with others being planned for the near future. This meant very little time was available for this upgrade project. While being on a very tight timeline our consultants had to focus on risk management as well and their attention to detail and a close follow-up turned this project into a real success. The upgrade was completed in record time.
SAP HCM/Payroll Global Implementation
Two years ago our customer, a multinational present in over 50 countries launched and effort to centralize their payroll system throughout their different entities. The main requirement was to have all payrolls on one single system. Acting as Project Leader, Adessa Consulting has guided the customer through various phases of the project, resulting in an externalization of all payrolls on one SAP HCM/Payroll system: brainstorming workshops, audit of the as-is situation in multiple entities all over the world, presentation of potential solutions to the customer, guidance in the strategic decision-making process and the selection of the right service provider (RFI, RFP), negotiating and setting up the contract with the provider, definition and implementation of the Global Template, setting up the project and starting the pilot project. During those last phases Adessa Consulting has been playing a double role. On one hand we were in charge of guaranteeing a fair deal with the potential providers. On the other hand we also acted as Project Leader for the internal teams involved in the project.
SAP Global e-HR implementation
Our customer asked us to set up a series of SAP standard e-HR solutions, going from electronic leave request management via web-based update of personal details to more complex applications as E-recruiting. The experience of our SAP Netweaver-certified consultants is major contributing factor on this project.
SAP HCM team set-up in Poland
One of our very first customers decided to move the whole of their IT activities to Poland, including their internal SAP HCM expertise. Since 2 years we have been assisting them in setting up their SAP HCM expert team. Three of our consultants were trained to master the specific need of this customer. Today the team in Poland is fully operational, they are still being assisted by one of our consultants who’s acting as expert on-site.
